Activities

• LanguageBird Korean language full academic year class 1AB, weekly, online class, with private teacher.

• Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles, Language Classes. K-Town Studied from basic A Korean to beginner C in-person group classes. I studied college-level courses and was the youngest there. Everyone else was adults over 18 years old.

• EF Education First Student Exchange Program: cultural and linguistic immersion. Went to Seoul, South Korea for 5 weeks over the summer for a language immersion program. I stayed in a host family's house and participated in the cultural tendencies like a family style home-cooked meal every night. We spoke Korean at home to help with our practice. I took K-pop dance lessons in Seoul and went on day trips to observe traditional monuments. Commuted, solo, to school daily using the Subway: 1-hour commute in each direction.

• TikTok Diary documenting of my experiences studying abroad in Seoul, South Korea.

• Original Music Video: “Crazy Over You” I performed lead, harmony, and rap vocals, danced, and played viola parts. Also, co-arranged music as well as additional vocals and instrumentation. In addition, I designed all Hair, Make-up, and Wardrobe.

• Member, YG Dance Crew. Selected as a member of K-pop, Contemporary Jazz, HipHop, and Latin dance crew. Rehearse 3-6 hours per week; create original choreography for competitions and performances; self-choreographed dances for showcases; performed in trailer for Chinese film: “One and Only” Directed by Dong Chengpeng.

• Pasadena Waldorf High School Talent Show: Solo dancer in Talent Show Spring 2023. K-pop dance performance medley: “Vengeance” by Bibi and "Under the Influence" by Chris Brown. I designed the wardrobe and stage blocking for this performance.

• YG Dance Crew Performance: Entertainment booking for a wedding held at Ebell Los Angeles, October 2023. Our YG Dance Crew performed as entertainment for a wedding the following numbers: “Replay” by Zendalya, and partner piece: “Marry Me” by Jason Derulo.

• YG Dance Studio Dance Crew Showcase: November 2023: Our dance crew will perform a Showcase with the following group numbers: “Rover” by Kai, “Gucci” by Jesse, “Conga” by Gloria Estefan, “Seven” by Jung Kook.

• Viola: StringRays girl ensemble/band. Took viola lessons with a private teacher for 8 years where we created our own music, learned songs by ear, and wrote scores /sheet music. Member of a small string ensemble/band with my private teacher and a few other students of hers. We made cover songs and music videos, and we were interviewed for an online radio show during the COVID pandemic lockdown.

• Falcon Year: Camp Glenbrook in New Hampshire. A 3-week outdoor leadership and enrichment outward bound type program including:

• Carving canoe paddle from wood

• 4-day canoe and camping trip, 30 miles, on the Moose River, Maine

• 5-day backpacking trip, 27 miles, White Mountains

• Solo 24-hour Vision Quest, camp solo, no tent, fasting, journaling, alone in the woods.

• Research Assistant: Professor Barbara Wall University of Copenhagen. Helped her reorganize her YouTube channel and gave her suggestions and example thumbnails for her channel. I also helped her upload schedules for her conferences and meetings on her calendar.

• Pasadena Waldorf High School: Girls Volleyball Team, Libero position. 2021 – 2023
